MoU Between University of Nebraska (USA) and Agricultural Development Trust, Baramati under USDA

The Agricultural Development Trust (ADT), Baramati, under the guidance of its Trustee Hon. Shri Prataprao Pawar, has been actively working in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in agriculture for the past five years. Through this initiative, several success stories have been created, particularly in sugarcane cultivation, significantly benefiting farmers and drawing global attention. The impact of this work has been recognized internationally, with prominent global leaders such as Elon Musk and Satya Nadella acknowledging these efforts on their platforms. As a result, ADT Baramati has established a strong global presence in the field of AI-driven agriculture. In line with this recognition, the University of Nebraska, USA, in collaboration with the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ADT Baramati. This collaboration aims to conduct research on the application of Artificial Intelligence in soybean and maize cultivation and to extend its benefits to a larger farming community.
