COE Dairy

The Agricultural Development Trust proudly operates a dedicated Dairy Department, offering hands-on demonstration sessions focused on modern dairy farming practices. Farmers and trainees are introduced to a wide spectrum of innovations, including genetically upgraded cow breeds, high-yield fodder varieties, and mechanization techniques for efficient dairy management.
In collaboration with the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Baramati, the Trust has been conducting Inter-State Training Programmes for participants from across India. These individuals come from diverse professional backgrounds, united by their aspiration to establish and manage successful dairy farms. KVK provides them with comprehensive, practical training through access to advanced facilities such as the modern loose housing dairy farm, mechanized milking systems, fodder crop cultivation units, and a fully equipped milk processing center featuring homogenization and pasteurization units.
Thanks to this hands-on exposure and knowledge-sharing, many trainees have gone on to successfully establish their own dairy farms, contributing to the rural economy and self-employment generation.
